Vehicle Description A BENTLEY/ROLLS ROYCE WITH UNIQUE FEATURES A CALIFORNIA CAR FOR MOST OF ITS LIFE, LOVINGLY CARED FOR BY ITS PREVIOUS AND CURRENT OWNERS A beautiful automobile which features a General Motors drivetrain of proven reliability and smoothness Over $90,000 was invested in the restoration and modernization of the car approximately twenty years ago.
This included installation of a 350 cubic-inch General Motors V8 engine and Turbo-Hydramatic automatic transmission which perform flawlessly.
The brakes nave been updated to power-assisted front discs/rear heavy-duty drums with a dual-chamber master cylinder.
The steering is power assisted as well.
There are many other updated components that have been professionally incorporated into the car which I would be pleased to review with a seriously interested prospective new owner.
The body and chrome are in very good to excellent condition with the exception of a small (1-1/4) dent in the right-rear door and a few light scratches in the lower right quarter panel.
Note that the hood and grille are from a period Rolls-Royce and were carefully integrated into the Bentley body.
Also, a sunroof with moveable shade was installed.
The interior is for the most part beautiful and in very good to excellent condition, with its real-wood trim elements, deep-pile carpeting, and leather surfaces.
The leather of the driver's seat, however, is worn.
The car is very solid and appears to have no rust or panel repairs.
It glides down the road smoothly and very quietly.
I have been finding new homes for classic and vintage automobiles for twenty years.
I now have the honor and privilege to offer this beautiful car to a new guardian who will, hopefully, treasure it as its current owner has.
