Vehicle Description 1967 Corvette L79 Roadster Drive as is or restore You are viewing a unrestored L79 Roadster.
The car runs and drives but is in need of a total restoration.
The mileage is believed to be original at 69,800 miles.

Body/Paint:
The body looks to be in pretty good condition.
Cracks around the headlight assembly doors.
The original color of the car is yellow and was repainted in the late 70's with a cinnamon/bronze shade of custom paint with a little burnt orange tint.
The paint is in pretty rough shape with many chips.
Top:
The top is vinyl and was done a number of years ago, but is reasonably presentable.
It had been replaced in the past decades ago with the window scratched.
Interior:
The interior is original and needs restoration.
Running Gear:
The original L79 327/350 horse engine is long gone with a replacement 327 using the original aluminum intake and what looks like original L79 components other than the block.
It runs but the carb could use a little work.
The transmission is a Muncie 4 speed likely a M21 and not original to the car.
The original Muncie shifter is loose and a bit tired finding gears.
Suspension:
Original and unrestored in need of restoration Bright work:
Original and unrestored in need of restoration.
Glass:
Original with the windshield being in pretty good shape.
Exhaust:
Operational but in need of being replaced.
Brakes:
Stock original in working order, but in need of restoration.
Wheels/Tires:
Original rally wheels with rings and caps on old radial tires.
Summary:
The car basically is an original car without matching engine and transmission with the entire car in need of restoration, but runs and drives.
Drive as is or restore.
A yellow with black interior L79 67 Corvette roadster is very desirable as restored.
