Vehicle Description 1962 CHEVROLET CORVETTE CONVERTIBLE #'S MATCHING, 327 CI/300HP, 3-SPEED MANUAL TRANS.
This is a fantastic example of a 1962 Chevrolet Corvette convertible, it has excellent fit and finish.
I have not found any cracks or previous repairs showing on the body.
It is straight down both sides and the panels fit real well.
The paint has a smooth and glossy finish.
The chrome and trim are in like new condition.
Every piece looks like it was either replaced or restored.
The door seals and weather stripping have been replaced.
It sits on a nice set of radial tires with good looking spinner hubcaps.
The engine compartment is nice and correct with its number matching 327 cubic inch optional 300 hp engine.
All of the casting numbers and dates line up and the VIN is stamped on the engine pad.
It has its correct chrome air cleaner, stock valve covers, ignition shielding, choke tube, glass fuel filter, correct radiator, fan shroud and clutch fan.
It is very much original throughout!! The interior is in great shape.
It has the correct salt & pepper carpet.
The upholstery and door panels appear original and in good shape.
The armrest bases have been replaced with new.
Looking forward, the dash is in good shape, the dash pad fits well (no cracks), the gauges are clean and all working including the factory tach.
It has a retro radio with Bluetooth in the factory location.
The factory steering wheel is in good shape and all the vent and heater controls move with ease.
The undercarriage is very proper and original.
The frame is solid and the fiberglass floors are undamaged.
The front steering components, bushings and shocks have been replaced.
The E-brake assembly is complete and working.
