Vehicle Description Creampuff is a wonderful 1976 Cadillac Eldorado Convertible that has accumulated a mere 33,000 miles from new.
Having been cared for by a few long-term owners and meticulously maintained.
This is a terrific example that can be enjoyed immediately needing nothing.
A long-time owner of a Cadillac dealership in Elgin, Illinois bought two 1976 Cadillac Eldorado's for his daughters, each one in a different color.
This Eldorado was selected by his daughter Carolyn 'Cookie Smith as she lived in Arizona and loved the Calumet Cream color.
Cookie immediately named her Creampuff.
Cookie enjoyed Creampuff for many years eventually selling her to Carol and Tom Jorishie, who have been members of the Cadillac LaSalle Club.
Creampuff's livery has been beautifully refinished in its original Calumet Cream (Paint Code 50).
The repaint was due to the normal failure of the plastic inserts near the bumpers and fenders.
He was concerned about the paint not matching well when he replaced the plastic.
The paint is excellent and was very well done.
Creampuff also has her correct black wheel covers and has very good to excellent chrome and stainless-steel trim.
The tan convertible top is in very good condition showing just a slight bit of wear in a couple of areas.
Creampuff comes complete with her hard cased parade top boot as well as the tan soft boot cover.
Overall, the exterior is in very nice to excellent condition.
Her interior features the Light Antique Tan Buckskin leather (Interior Code 642) throughout.
The leather is in very good to excellent condition and is very soft and supple.
The carpeting is a complimentary tan color and is all original and in very nice condition with its original matching mats.
The carpeting is a very deep pile that is elegant and luxurious.
Even the trunk had been ordered with a trunk mat.
The 500 CID V8 is silent and powerful, as you would expect for a well maintained 33,000-mile example.
All the accessories and gauges work well, and she runs and drives beautifully.
She benefits from an extra cooling fan which allows her to be used even in the Arizona summers for short drives.
The Hagerty Value Guide shows that the No.
2 Value for a 1976 Cadillac Eldorado Convertible is $63,500, making this a terrific value.
