This rare 3000GT Glas edition is one of only 389 produced for it's final year of production and the only year wearing BMW badges.
Under the hood sits a 3 Liter Overhead Cam V8 backed by a 4 speed manual transmission, upgraded electronic ignition, power steering, 4 wheel power disc brakes, De Dion rear suspension and deep offset factory Steel wheels for handling.
The beautiful European styling comes from Pietro Frua who designed some of the Maserati's of this vintage and there are subtle resemblances noticeable.
Finished in Granada Red with Silver wheels and plenty of well cared for bright work though out.
The interior consist of Black Vinyl and Tan cloth insert bucket seats, original Becker Grand Prix AM/FM stereo, period correct 3 point seat belts, original Glas steering wheel and a beautiful full set of VDO gauges to set off the classic cockpit.
This rare vehicle has only 83342 original Kilometers (51k Miles) due to being in a Museum in Munich Germany for 28 years before being imported to the U.
