Vehicle Description 1956 Mercury Montclair Custom.
Pro Built from the ground up and completed in 2011 with only 5751 miles on the restoration.
Body was stripped to bare metal before paint and body.
Doors, Decklid , and hood were smoothed.
Headlights and taillights were frenched.
Body panels are straight and paint was fully sanded and buffed for a show quality appearance.
Painted in a 2 stage PPG dark Pearl Blue.
Absolutely gorgeous color.
Solid floors and trunk with no signs of rust repairs.
Interior was all custom done by Duncan and Sons Upholstery.
Very comfortable and fully insulated for sound deadening and heat reduction.
A custom panel was made below the dash for the Vintage Air ducting.
Custom gauges and dash panel were fabricated.
Dash was smoothed out.
A tilt steering column was installed.
The Kenwood stereo has bluetooth and handsfree capability.
Drivers and passenger side windows were upgraded to power.
Trunk is finished to match the interior.
Doors and trunk open with remote.
All new wiring throughout.
All seals and weatherstripping was replaced with new.
powered by a crate Ford Racing 351 Windsor with electronic ignition.
Edelbrock intake and carb, billet serpentine belt system, and block hugger headers.
Transmission is a ford c6 with custom driveshaft and Ford 9inch differential.
Great for cruising! Very Cool Mercury custom, certainly a stand out at any show.
You dont see many of these around and certainly none nicer! Comes with a file documenting all work and receipts in excess of $50k.
