Vehicle Description Absolutely incredible, stunning restoration of a first year Lincoln Continental, convertible.
Triple black with a brand new convertible top, pumps, lines, relays etc.
This car benefited from a complete engine rebuild with the original engine shipped to a specialist in Michigan where it was fully rebuilt to stage 3 standards.
Fully documented, Now it's Original 430 in.
V8 puts out 360 hp and 470 foot pounds of torque thanks to ported heads, oversized valves, performance cam shaft quick fuel four barrel carburetor, roller cam upgrade, Electric fuel pump and more.
Of course if you are going to go that far to make the engine so correct it is important to rebuild the transmission, which was done as well a custom built aluminum radiator with dual electric cooling fans, high torque aluminum starter we all installed.
Then he had generator converted to an alternator, a suspension rebuild, new exhaust system and much, much more.
The car was completely stripped down and repainted with most of the chrome being replated or replaced.
The professionally installed new leather interior and carpets still look like new.
Several upgrades were made to the electrical system including rebuilding all of the switches that control the power windows, power seats and the power locks as well as the convertible top mechanism.
This was a no expense spared project, completely documented with probably 300 pages of receipts.
Owned by The same gentleman since 2009, this restoration went on for several years.
Now an absolutely stunning example, great to drive with plenty of power, power steering, power brakes, rebuilt suspension and recently added a Bluetooth sound system which all make it a joy to cruise in.
Way too much work here done to put in one ad but I'll be glad to speak with you about it in great detail, send you copies of the receipts, or shoot more pictures or video for you.
