Vehicle Description This 1965 Dodge Dart 270 is in excellent condition.
It is 100% rust free and everything is new or rebuilt.
Zero leaks.
The odometer reads 357 which is the true miles it has been driven since it was rebuilt.
$30,000 worth of professional work has been invested in it, and is all receipted.
(receipts gladly provided upon request for serious inquiries) It is non-power steering, and non-power convertible top.
ENGINE:
Built up with a 225 Slant 6 Cylinder with high compression pistons and mild-cam shorty headers.
Dual exhaust, Edelbrock 4 barrel carb.
TRANSMISSION:
Originally came as a 3 speed on the Column.
Upgraded to an A-833 4 speed stick with Hurst linkage and shift tower.
Changed the rear end gear ratio to 355.
SUSPENSION:
Rebuilt front end with new heavy duty torsion bars.
INTERIOR:
New instrument panel with rebuilt speedometer.
After market AC is installed.
The cigarette lighter and radio does not work.
EXTERIOR:
New windshield and rubber seal strip.
As with any classic car, there are minute imperfections such as a quarter size faint blemish on trunk hood.
WHEELS:
14 Mopar rally wheels from the late '60s with the Sony Lug pattern are currently installed.
Original 13 Mopar wheels and hubcaps included in the sale.
This Dart has been stored in my climate-controlled shop since I purchased it.
It is a beautiful car, that has been thoroughly preserved and restored.
