Vehicle Description Verifiable true SS 396 (originally a 4-speed car).
Frame off restoration.
I have owned this car since June 2006.
Now having three children under six years old, this car does not get the attention it deserves.
This car is referred to by friends, family and neighbors, as the car that never leaves the garage.
This is not a trailer queen, the car has been driven and is not perfect.
Is the early 1990s this car was stripped down, every part and bolt was removed.
A ground up, frame-off restoration was professionally conducted.
It took from 1992, until April 2006 to complete the restoration.
Everything was either painted the body color or chromed.
Among the new parts and components include all:
wiring, emblems, molding, grill, running lenses, bumpers, locks, side mirrors, front and back window, dash pad, pillar post, carpet, headliner, door panels, seats, package tray, radio, scuff plates, window felts, weather stripping, window and door cranks, glove box, brakes, brake lines and shocks.
Almost $100,000.
00 invested to date; I have most receipts.
This car was built to win first at the car show, then win first at the racetrack.
