Vehicle Description Selling my very eye-catching 1960 Silver Hawk (serial number 60V60225).
I purchased the car from an estate where the owner was restoring the car and passed away so some information is second-hand.
Beautiful car with straight body and chrome in very good condition.
The paint is black with a silver accent and is excellent with no bubbles and a great shine.
Tires are Cooper and like new and recently balanced.
Brakes are good and stop straight.
Correct hub caps in great condition.
New U joints and driveshaft balanced.
Undercarriage has some heavy undercoat in places and surface rust but no cancer.
Floorboards solid.
Cloth seat covers are OK with no tears.
The black carpet on the floor is new.
The engine is a 1963 289 CU V8 (truck) with a 4 BBL Edelbrock Carb (looks new) (Engine No 7EK310).
I was told it had been rebuilt and driven very little.
The dual exhaust system is like new.
Has power steering.
Transmission is a 1957 golden hawk model that was supposedly new off the shelf.
Glass is good with no cracks nor major discoloration.
Seat covers are a black and grey pattern with no rips or tears.
The carpet is new and black.
All instruments present and function properly (Tach, Speedometer, oil pressure, and gas gauge are new).
Door handles, latches, and locks all function well.
The trunk is clean with a spare tire and jack that is present.
The heater is connected and functions as expected.
Radio has been replaced with a tape player.
The headliner is good.
Has dice valve cover caps and a pair of fuzzy dice hanging on the mirror.
The previous owner apparently did some car shows as the car came with aluminum camp chairs, a small radio that says, Studebaker.
I have a clear Washington State title in hand and the car has Washington State collector plates.
Listed mileage of 3069 IS NOT original probably since the new speedometer installed.
The front Seat needs the springs to be rehabbed as it is lumpy to sit on.
