Vehicle Description 1966 FORD MUSTANG SHELBY GT350 COBRA RESTOMOD V8 289 V8 AUTOMATIC 1966 Ford Mustang GT350 Tribute coupe.
V8 car with a 289 cubic inch engine.
This Mustang is in great running/driving condition with lots of new parts.
Mild resto with lots of new parts installed.
The CA black plate is a novelty plate for vanity purposes only.
This Mustang carries a clean CA title in hand.
BODY:
Paint is base/clear 2 stage Pull Me Over Red with Performance White Lemans stripes.
Many new exterior parts and add ons, new GT fiberglass hood scoop, Shelby GT350 gas cap, new Cobra exterior emblem kit, new chrome side mirrors, new front windshield, new hood pin kit.
All other exterior trim is original in good shape.
American Racing Torque Thrust ET aluminum alloy wheels 14x7's.
Tires have good tread 235/60R14.
All exterior lighting, turn signals and brake lights all function properly.
?ENGINE:
The engine is a 289 cubic inch V8 having been rebuilt several years ago with no apparent issues.
Approximate mileage on motor is unknown.
Engine starts right up and runs great.
It has an new Henkyo 350 CFM 2 barrel carburetor, new starter, new starter solenoid and wires, new alternator, new voltage regulator, new exhaust manifolds, new water pump, Mallory electronic ignition distributor, recently tuned up including plugs, wires, cap and rotor, recent oil change and coolant flush.
Exhaust is stock manifolds running into 2 1/4 inch pipe with Flowmaster 40 series mufflers with turn downs at the rear axle.
Car has a nice deep rumble.
Transmission is the OEM C4 automatic 3 speed.
Transmission was rebuilt at the same time as the motor.
Shifts good thru all gears no issues.
INTERIOR:
The interior has been redone with standard black comfortweave seat upholstery, new center console, new carpet, new Grant steering wheel, new rear shelf tray, new headliner, new kick panels, new rubber floor mats.
Heater, interior lighting, gauges and horn all work.
This Mustang does not have air conditioning.
BRAKES/SUSPENSION:
Factory power steering works nicely.
Brakes are manual drum all the way around.
Shoes have been inspected and are in good shape.
Car stops nicely.
Front suspension is stock coils springs up front with good front and rear shock absorbers.
Car rides and drives nicely.
New gas tank fuel sending unit installed.
