Ordered in late 1981 and delivered the following January, this preproduction Flachbau (slantnose as we know them) is car number 13 of 42 built for 1982.
Upon Porsche completing the car it was sent to RUF to receive the 5 speed conversion.
Not only is the documentation from RUF for the 5 speed with the car, it also has a documented RUF tachometer gauge swap and suspension upgrades.
Throughout the previous ownership the car also received a Borla exhaust and a fresh set of Yokohama Advan A052 summer tires.
These modifications make the car absolutely exceptional to drive and enjoy!Today the car still wears its original paint and interior that are both in exceptional condition thanks to like-minded ownership.
The mileage is original as well, as supported by documentation of gauge swap, showing that the car has averaged just over 900 miles per year! Services have been done annually on the car and most recently the car received a full mechanical recommissioning to the tune of $23,000 dollars by a local Porsche Repair facility.
