I bought this M1009 CUCV in the Bay Area of California.
It has a 6.
2 liter diesel on a 1 ton frame so it's a K5 body style on a K-10 1 ton frame.
Drove it up to Portland from there.
Painted it black, lined the inside with LineX, put in 2 new front seats and reupholstered the rear bench, added the antenna holder on the driver's side (but never got around to installing a whip antenna and CB), installed a rear bumper to hold the new tire carrier, changed the lockouts from plastic to metal, serviced the transmission and the engine.
