1984 BMW R80ST for sale in Lithopolis, OH
1984 BMW R80ST 6207716 RARE '84 BMW R80ST Silver Not running Project Bike.
Motor turns easily.
Has key and all locks but fuel cap lock catch is broken ( turns but will not lock).
The Corbin Dual Sport seat needs the cover repaired in the front and the rear latch tab is missing.
The bike has a Rifle fairing.
The Transmission is out but everything is there.
The bike has nice Metzeller tires.
Wheels are straight.
Front brake works but the master cylinder needs a rebuild and the front disc is worn.
The kill switch needs repaired.
The right battery cover needs one of the attachment tabs repaired the left one has already been repaired.
The rear subframe has a well done weld on the right just behind the angle brace (see photos).
The main frame has some patches of surface rust.
There is no tool tray or tool kit.
The odo reads 49 548 miles.
The title is free and clear NOT salvage.
Before we sell this bike we will clean the carburetors and then start the motor and perform a compression check to insure there are no major problems with the motor.
