I am experienced with providing compassionate care visits to the elderly members of our community. I can help with basic tasks like light chores, laundry, grocery shopping, meal prep, and/or visiting for caring companionship (coffee/tea time, share a meal, watch a movie, friendly conversation and story sharing, laughter, connection). I can also do a bit of gardening in spring/summer also. Too many aging/elderly people are feeling alone and would enjoy a weekly visitor to just share in friendly conversation and have someone to help with doing the household things that become a bit harder to do as we age. In my experiences, these wonderful people are so happy to have a visitor to talk with, and it is healing for me as well. This is also helpful to the family members that love them, because it helps to relieve some of the pressure they feel knowing their loved one spends a lot of time alone. I cannot provide any medical care, I cannot administer medications, but I can help by visiting and checking in and making sure they are doing okay and reporting any concerns if needed.
