Grilled Cube Steaks at Adams Natural Meats 5% off on Cube Steaks this week only!! 1 cup canola oil 1/2 cup soy sauce 4 cloves garlic, minced 1/2 tsp. chili powder 1 onion, minced Juice of 1/2 lime 1 tsp. fresh ground black pepper Large mixing bowl 3 lbs. cube steak 9x13 glass baking dish Plastic wrap Mix all ingredients except steak in large mixing bowl. Pour into glass baking dish. Add steak and cover with plastic wrap. Refrigerate for one hour. Turn steaks over and return to refrigerator for one hour more. Turn on the grill to high setting, between 500 and 550 degrees Fahrenheit . Oil the grilling surface well. Place the marinated steaks on the grill for two minutes per side. Discard leftover marinade. Serve on toasted sandwich rolls with grilled onions, or with your favorite side dish. Do not overcook the steaks, as they will become tough. Italian salad dressing makes an easy marinade. Cut into strips, the steaks are great on a salad. The recipe serves 6 adults.
