What happened when an innocent visit to a friends home took a turn for the worse...

It’s not every day you’re forced to draw your firearm on a friend’s angry boyfriend…

But that’s exactly what happened to Kerri Ann McGrath when she suddenly found herself caught in the middle of a HEATED argument with no way to escape.
---

It was a day just like any other and Kerri Ann was heading over to her friend’s home to meet up for lunch…

But when she arrived at the door, she quickly realized that the couple was in the middle of a very serious argument.

It was obvious to Kerri Ann that her friend’s boyfriend was agitated and she needed to calm him down and deescalate the situation…

Wanting to keep the peace, she waited until her friend stormed off and then asked her boyfriend why he was so upset…

But the angry boyfriend responded by forcefully pushing her into the kitchen sink and then blocking her from leaving the house!

There was no escape…

She could see the rage in his eyes and she was sure he was going to keep coming after her...

And after having multiple surgeries for back issues, Kerri Ann knew her body couldn’t handle any physical abuse.

Fearing for her safety and her life, she drew her gun and ordered him to stop his attack…

Now staring down the barrel of Kerri’s gun, the angry boyfriend gave up his pursuit and left…

But the battle STILL wasn’t over!

You see, shortly after the police arrived on scene both Kerri and her friend’s boyfriend were questioned…

Here’s where things took a turn for the worse...

The once angry boyfriend decided to paint HER as the aggressor telling police that Kerri forced HER way into their home and wanted to fight him.

Despite Kerri’s friend backing up her side of the story, police were taking the angry boyfriend’s side and even told Kerri that she would be charged for what she did...

Can you imagine how Kerri was feeling...facing criminal charges and jail time just for trying to stay alive and unharmed?

That’s when Kerri called the USCCA for help...

She was able to connect with an attorney who jumped into action immediately and worked with the police to get the case against her dropped before her life AND her reputation was destroyed.

To put it into her words:

“It threw me back how quickly I turned from victim to bad guy because all I was trying to do was defend myself. You never think it's going to happen to you, but guess what - it happened to me.

If it wasn't for the USCCA and their training, I probably would have been in prison. I don't know what would have happened. And everyone just made me feel at ease, made me feel safe, and made me feel like I'm going to be okay.”

I hope to God you never have to experience a self-defense incident like Kerri Ann did…

...but in today’s world there are so many dangers and it’s our duty as responsibly armed Americans to be prepared for the unthinkable.
