Free Online Course to Ease Depression and Apathy in San Diego, CA

There is no cost for this course. It is not religious or spiritual. It is not going to make you rich, but hopefully you will break the chains of your pain and live to be the person you always wanted to be.

As a mental health advocate, I want to help others heal from depression. This free online course is for people who feel sad, anxious, apathetic, lonely, unloved, and worthless. These are all feelings I had during the 17 years I suffered from depression. It's based on my own experience of healing my depression, anxiety and co-dependency. It's rooted in my certification in mental health first aid, years of research, and being a survivor of long term depression. When I first sought help, I didn't know where to start, hopefully this course can give you that spark you need to begin your hero's journey

*This is not a quick fix. Recovery takes time. For most of my life, I believed was that I was permanently"flawed" and a "loser". There was no hope in my life. Through recovery, I learned to stop hating my self and my body, stop my destructive habits (which often included alcohol and unhealthy relationships), and follow my dreams. This healing has taken many years and there have been bumps along the way. Recovery didn't solve all my problems, but the journey gave me a light to walk towards. I am not rich, but I am happier than ever before. Despite the years of healing, I continue to learn and cultivate positive mental health.

Depression manifests for different reasons so parts of this course may be more helpful than others. For me, depression was brought on by violence, trauma and grief. Your trauma may have manifested from a different experience. Please note, I am NOT a therapist and my course is NOT legal medical advice. My qualifications are being a survivor of depression.
