1st Gen. Stumpjumper 1982. It is well used but everything works. I am not a bike guy but have owned it from day one. It was purchased in San Diego at Adams Ave Bicycle shop. The original sticker from the shop is on it. The bike has some surface rust on it and obviously can use some servicing. I see these have become collectable and want to let someone enjoy restoring it or just clean it up for their collection. I don't have any baseline for pricing so I am just going to auction it off. The serial number is stamped on the bottom of the frame under the cranks. I'm sure it is one of the first bikes made in this design from stump jumper , from the first gen. All the wheels and some of the parts are serialized. Everything but the seat and tires are original. 20" center to top. 23" top tube. IThe bike is over 40 years old so I'd recommend expert servicing if you plan to ride it. I do ride it for a couple miles cruise around town with no problems.
