First National Institute of Allied Arts Regal Guitar 1920's - 30's PLAYER for sale in Picayune, MS
"First National Institute of Allied Arts" Regal Guitar 1920's - 30's PLAYER. In very good condition considering it's an amazing 100 years and still completely original plays and sounds great. It has a earthy sound and very good vibe feel. Great for cowboy chords, blues, fingerpicking. Probably would make a good slider as well. No cracks, No separations, No pull on bridge, No cracks at neck pocket, No separations of bracing. Only a few light scratches on side of body. Frets still have life. Good low action with no buzzing or dead spots. BUILT IN USA. Now for the negatives, Gloss clear coat has long worn off. Guitar has been wiped down with pure lemon oil yearly. I had the gold leaf painting redone awhile back but the lemon oil has dissolved it. A sibling wrote the fret numbers on it ( see last picture ) and you can feel a slight indentation into the finger board, Not to noticeable unless your looking for it. Very realistically a light sanding of the fret board with a restraining , plus a light sanding of body with new gloss clear coat and you will have a showroom piece of history. Hate to let it go but health+doctors+insurance+bills have other plans for me. Will use extreme care when packing for shipment and will ship in a hard shell case. Happy to answer any questions. Guaranteed to be exactly as described. Free shipping to lower 48 only. Overseas contact me for shipping rates.
