This auction is for a FE Olds & Son Olds Double French Horn. The serial number 946974 and this dates it to 1975. Comes with the Olds Case and a Holton Farkas Model MDC Mouthpiece. Check Ebays Shipping Calculator for cost. Normally it will cost around $25 to $60 for Fedex shipping to the lower United States. Worldwide Shipping also available. Please include your postal/zip code with all shipping questions. This Horn is in overall good used condition and plays and sounds good to me. There are a few smaller dents and dings on the horn as you can see and the lacquer is worn and has scratches but overall nothing too bad. The horn could use a complete cleaning and polishing to look and sound its best. The 4 valves all move properly and feel good when played. The tuning slides are all free and slide well. There are a few letters and numbers etched into the lacquer on the bell by the Olds logo from a previous owner. The original Olds case shows its age. It has worn and torn covering inside and needs cleaning and has a few painted letters on the outside but still a good solid case to use. The Mouthpiece is in good shape.Look at the pictures carefully to see the condition and ask questions if needed. Just what you see in the pictures is included. Low Starting Bid!
