From my small collection of American Acoustics is a 1950's Silvertone Model 670 Aristocrat archtop in really nice condition with that full volume and bright tone these high end Silvertone's are known for. Built for Sears by the Kay company; the Model 670 was part of their exclusive "Silvertone" line of instruments and was only offered for a few years; with a very limited production run. Structurally, this Aristocrat has a spruce top with figured curly maple back and sides boasting a jumbo size 17" lower bout. Also of note is the "baseball bat" U-shape maple neck with it's bound Brazilian rosewood fretboard; 3.5" shoulders and sides. The (what appears to be medium jumbo) frets look to be in very good condition; no cowboy chord divots or noticeable fret wear. Action at the 12th fret is approx 3/16". The guitar weighs approx 4lbs 12oz.The unique headstock is easily one of the best features of this instrument with an overlay that looks like a medieval crest, with gold "Silvertone" script etched at the top. This is no mere veneer, and there is depth to the design, with it's vibrant colors and a tortoise backing. The original Kluson Deluxe tuners are intact and turn smoothly. The hardware includes a new trapeze tailpiece and the bridge is a rosewood replacement that measures approx .75" in height. The pickguard was made by a local luthier with it's bracket. Very light scuffs here & there. With a lower bout of 16.5"; it's close to being a jumbo!

We got a new GE microwave that had a tiny dent on the front surface that is hardly noticeable. Since it was a new microwave they sent a new door. The door is fully functional, so instead of replacing your whole microwave if the door is broken, just replace the door!...
