I purchased this to use with my cover stitch machine but never got around to using it and no longer have the machine. It didn't come with instructions but there are lots of YouTube videos. This is made to fit an industrial machine but I purchased some reusable adhesive that was recommended for attaching the binder to the bed of the machine. This could be used with a sewing machine or a cover stitch machine.
