This auction is for a Holton Model 77 Double French Horn. The serial number 343075 and this dates it to 1961. Comes with the Case and a Holton Farkas Model MC Mouthpiece. Check Ebays Shipping Calculator for cost. Normally it will cost around $25 to $60 for Fedex shipping to the lower United States. Worldwide Shipping also available. Please include your postal/zip code with all shipping questions. This Horn is not the prettiest instrument but it plays and sounds good to me. There are a few smaller dents and dings on the horn as you can see and the lacquer is worn and has scratches. The horn could use a complete cleaning and polishing to look and sound its best. The 4 valves all move properly and feel good when played. The tuning slides are all free. The case has worn covering inside and out and needs cleaning but still a good solid case to use. The Holton Farkas Model MC Mouthpiece is in good shape.Look at the pictures carefully to see the condition and ask questions if needed. Just what you see in the pictures is included. 1 of the tires has good tread, the other 3 have poor tread. They can be used as a "spare" tire for emergencies, or you can mount your winter tires on the rims in time for winter instead of having to pay each time you have your mechanic mounts or removes your snow tires. $30 for the wheel with good tread, $15 each for the others, or $60 for all 4....
