First Glass dining table made by Ligne Roset for sale in Vienna, VA
Selling our beautiful "First Glass" dining table made by "Ligne Roset." This particular table has a rectangular aluminum frame with two glass tops with a third extension glass top cleverly hidden underneath. One side of the frame has hidden rollers underneath the legs whereas the other side is fixed. The frame has an ingeniously engineered mechanism that when pulling from the side with the rollers the frame extends with another extension glass top automatically popping up in place. The table is used, with a few small chips at some of the corners (not too visible as mostly are underneath and not on the top surface) as shown in pictures 6 through 9 that can be easily beveled/polished out by any local glass shop, and a few scratches here and there that are not too obvious (some are shown in pictures 10 and 11). We ordered a set of custom made tops as shown in pictures 1 and 12 that we'll include if the buy it now price is met. Unfortunately it is too large for our space. Dimensions are 30" x 70.75" x 35.5" expanding to 94" long. This table retailed for over $6500 and with tax, delivery, and installation surcharges was a $7K table. PayPal is an accepted payment option but since item is for local pick-up (i.e. without tracking and shipping documents) buyer must inspect the item on pick-up in person and acknowledge receipt of item according to description through eBay messaging system and must exchange feedback before item leaves the premises. This is expensive furniture and I do not ship it because it is too bulky, heavy, and fragile, and I don't want to take the risk of something being broken in transit. I can help to deliver it in-person for $150 in the DC area (it will have to be disassembled, transported locally, and then reassembled). If I deliver it in person, like in the case of local pick-up, I'll take cash only on delivery for item(s) and for cost of delivery.
