Up for auction is a JVC HR-S5500U super vhs player/recorder. This unit has not seen any use in about 30 years. It was used for a couple of years from new and then it was just unplugged and sat in a cabinet for the last 25-30 years. It turns on and runs when a vhs tape is loaded. I have not been able to test the unit's picture because I have no monitors here that accept RCA plugs,so the unit is sold as is or for parts. Cosmetically the unit is in great shape,other than some scratches on the top of the chassis. Nothing broken on the unit and it even still has it's protective film strip on the LCD screen. No batteries in the remote,so there's no corrosion from dead batteries being left in it. Includes original box,remote and owner's manual. Any questions,feel free to drop me a line. Thanks,Dave
