Made in the USA! The Gemeinhardt model 2NP studentflute has been built to the same exacting standards since their inception. This great model flute will provide years of competitive play and areusually found in the top chair spots. This one sounds warm and sweet with great projection as you would expect with this model and the action is still great. It has a lot of light scratches and polishing swirls, typical of a used student flute, which do not affect its sound or play-ability. Nothing big to point out but most of the scratches (teeny tiny) are on the lip plate, again just cosmetic and will not affect your sound. Psst the nickel plate is more durable than the silver plate, it just needs wiped of finger prints to stay this shiny. New PADS! AND THE REASON YOU SHOULD BUY FROM US It just received a COA/Overhaul which includes; Dis-assembly, cleaned (tarnish removal and prevention, sanitation), hand polished, pads replaced as necessary, corks and bumpers checked and replaced if necessary, reassembled, oiled, adjusted and set up to play perfect ly. These scratches in no way affect the flutes sound or play-ability , they are normal for a student flute and we are sure your student will put some more on them.
