Open to International Bidders!! This No-Reserve auction, is for a vintage 1972 Ludwig model # 2201 clear "Vistalite" snare drum.Serial number on the blue/olive badge is # 1063469. As you can see from my pictures, this drum is in amazing condition and it really looks and sounds amazing!!The clear plastic Lucite shell is outfitted with ten Ludwig "Classic" snare lugs, two Ludwig triple-flanged hoops, 20 Ludwig tension rods, a Ludwig internal muffler assembly and a Ludwig P-85 throwoff mechanism and matching butt plate assembly. All of the metal hardware is brightly chrome plated but the individual lug casings are showing signs of pitting.A New REMO Ambassador bottom snare side head has been installed, along with the original Ludwig snare wires.
