Fisher 400 FM Stereo Multiflex FM Receiver with Cabinet & - Opportunity for sale in Bloomington, IN

1 of 1
For sale! I'm selling my vintage Fisher 400 FM-Stereo receiver ( see pictures ) that I've owned since 1969 and was in use until 1999 when I got into Home Theater. In 2014 it was professionally restored, which included replacing capacitors, resistors, LED dial lights, and dial-string. All tubes were tested for operational performance. Three of the 7868s are Fisher, and one is RCA--however, the tube output voltages are matched. Two of the multi-function capacitors were replaced with custom made PC-boards matching the original capacitor operation ( see pictures ) The sound is outstanding especially connected to these vintage ADS speakers. ( see video ) The original Fisher walnut veneered cabinet is in excellent condition. However, there is some wear and tear ( see pictures ) after all, I've owned it for 54 years. The cabinet was lightly sanded and re-stained with a fine coat of polyurethane applied. Please don't hesitate to ask questions! Payment I only accept confirmed Pay Pal accounts.
