Hello - This is a very nice playing TENOR SAX. it is all GOLD LACQUER - and it is almost an exact copy of the SELMER MARK VII Tenor Sax -- it has the same style keys , key guards , mechanisms , etc. this sax comes w/ a nice case w/ two handles (one on the end makes it easy to carry in or onto the bus. there are a couple reeds an a music holder as well - two mouthpieces also.I am a musical instrumenttechnician by trade - I have seen 1000s of instruments and 100s of saxophones - this is BY FAR the nicest piece I have seen JUPITER make - the company has caome a LONG WAY from its humble beginnings. this sax is easy to play - not overly heavy - has a nice tonme and IT IS IN TUNE WITH ITSELF!I would recommend this sax to a student OR GIVE TO MY SON OR DAUGHTER IF THEY PLAYED.the sax looks nice , however, it does have some worn lacquer and lots of little scratches. there are NO DENTS to speak of - has the professional SELMER STYLE " resonator" pads - and all in good shape - I am going to chech this instrument out THOROUGHLY before the sale and make sure no pads/corks/felts need to be replaced.SAVE YOURSELF $$$ OVER RENTING - IF YOU RENT A TENOR FOR 6 MONTHS YOU WILL MOST LIKELY PAY WHAT I AM ASKING - I KNOW - I HAVE SOLD AND RENTED INSTRUMENTS FOR TWENTY + YEARS - YOU CAN ALWAYS GET 75-100% OF YOUR MONEY BACK SELLING TO SOMEONE ELSE IF YOUR STUDENT CHOOSES NOT TO CONTINUE.!AS FAR AS THE QUALITY OF THIS INSTRUMENT - i LIKE IT A LOT - i HAVE SEEN CHINESE COPIES - AND THIS ONE IS VERY NICE - LOTS OF ATTENTION TO QUALITY AND DETAILTHANK YOU VERY MUCH!
