For sale! In this listing we have a vintage leather bicycle racing/sports seat (or saddle) made in France by IDEALE. Each side is stamped with the makers mark, the initials T & B with #41 at the bottom which designated the model. It is also stamped CROUPON GARANTI which insured that the saddle was made with the highest grade of desirable leather available. I am unsure of when this particular saddle was made. Could be early as 1930's or late as 1970's. In any case, this seat is in fair condition only. The leather is weathered with cracking but is still flexible. One of the reinforcements for the saddle holes is gone. This would be perfect to fasten to a vintage bike for display.
