Rollei Rolleiflex 2.8C XENOTAR 80mm 1:2.8 TLR Camera w/ CASE - Opportunity for sale in Salina, KS

For sale! 1952-1955 Rollei Rolleiflex 2.8C TLR Camera in good working condition with 1:2.8 Schneider Xenotar taking lens. Includes leather case, leather strap, filter pouch, bayonet lens cap, and 2 Rollei bayonet lens filters (UV and Yellow). This is a great camera for someone planning to shoot with it, since it's not a mint condition specimen but works well! Serial Number 1433111 Camera is in fine working condition, well taken care of, and has been reliable as my own personal camera for years. Had been periodically serviced over it's lifespan previous to my ownership, but I HAVE NOT had it serviced since I've owned it over the past ~8 years, so buyer may prefer to send it in to check the shutter timing and other functions. Basic functions all working, knobs and dials all work fairly smooth. Cosmetically, there are scuffs and paint chips and other signs of normal use over the decades. Leather covering is in good condition, but is slightly lifting in some of the corners, and would benefit from replacement or careful gluing down. Lenses appear free of significant marks or fungus, but there are some cleaning marks and light scratches on the outer surface that have not effected photo quality for me. There are a few spots within the elements, but appear normal for a camera of this age and condition. Leather hard case is in very good condition, with some creases in the expected areas from taking it on and off the camera. Interior material of the case has normal wear in contact spots, but overall the material is in good shape and clean. Also includes: lens cap 2 Rollei bayonet lens filters (UV and Yellow) filter pouch original leather strap (not recommended for use as it's getting brittle near the ends) Please send any questions you have before purchasing the camera. I'm happy to answer any other specifics I'm able to. Camera will be shipped via Fed Ex, insured for purchase price, and will require buyer signature on delivery. Still available at ListedBuy!
