For sale is a Nice Elkhart Conn 6D Double French Horn. This horn was made in Elkhart Indiana. The horns made in Elkhart are some of the finest quality Conn instruments ever made, and this horn is no exception. It plays beautifully and looks great. The valves are quiet and smooth, and still have good compression, especially for the age of the horn. All of the slides move smoothly and work as intended. The tone of the horn is large and warm. This horn uses very little air to play well.This horn is cleaned, lubed, oiled, and ready to play!There are some dents, and some lacquer wear, and some surface red-rot but nothing very bad, and certainly nothing that will affect how the horn plays in any way. The red rot is only on a surface level, and is more cosmetic than anything.Included is a good used case.
