LARGE Global Postage Stamp Collection? - Opportunity for sale in Long Beach, CA
For sale! Extensive postage stamp collection which includes two albums: a 1958 Minkus New Worldwide Stamp Album and a 1965 Scotts Worldwide Stamp Album. Both albums have over 500 stamps. There are additional small collector books that are empty. In addition, the collection includes over 1000 free standing worldwide stamps that have not been sorted or evaluated. They have been kept in envelopes by country. Collection also includes a " Hitler's Head" and " Behind the Iron Curtain" set. Entire collection has been kept boxed and in storage for the last 20 years. My mother was the avid stamp collector and she passed these along to me 20 years ago. They were forgotten about until a recent cleaning of our garage. Stamps have been well maintained in books and stamp envelopes but the free-standings stamps have never been sorted so I am unsure of how old they are.
