For sale is this Gemeinhardt silver plated flute Model M2. It has been refurbished with new pads and corks. Gemeinhardt flutes are always a top choice when considering a quality flute for beginners or more advanced players. There are some surface imperfections including scratches and a few dings....nothing serious. The case works OK but shows some moderate wear. Thehorn plays and sounds good and is ready to go. Noexpensive trips to the local music store needed. Whyrent when you can own a quality American-made instrument for muchless than the cost of a new one. Thinkingabout a new Chinese or Indian-made instrument? They're realpretty, but you risk parts breakage due to thin metal. And ifsomething breaks, you have what they call a "throw-away" hornbecause there are no replacement parts available. For those reasons.most shops won't work on them. THISIS IMPORTANT TO CONSIDER. Theprice of my refurbished instruments is less than most shops chargejust for a repad job. And if you decide to try your luck withan untested used horn, chances are you will have to take it to a shopfor repairs often costing $100-200 or more. 1 of the tires has good tread, the other 3 have poor tread. They can be used as a "spare" tire for emergencies, or you can mount your winter tires on the rims in time for winter instead of having to pay each time you have your mechanic mounts or removes your snow tires. $30 for the wheel with good tread, $15 each for the others, or $60 for all 4....
