Re-Built recently with new Switchcraft jacks. Steel box classic 60s school equipment. Now a Passive resistor breakout system for studio phones distribution. The boxes have Speakon loop through inputs so you can easily daisy chain additional boxes. Obviously, this box requires a stereo power amp and provides for 8 sets of phones. We used 125wpc but you can use any amp within reason. It won't perfectly the loudness between different headsets but the 50 ohms in series helps to this end, it will also protect the amp, and isolate a bad pair of phones from towing down the entire system. Just the shorted set wont work. Phones might be between 8 and 600 ohms and 60 ohms is pretty popular so 110 per pair in this case. Mixing and matching is possible depending on the phones. It is reliable and will accommodate a lot of phones if needed by adding boxes. A good limiter ahead of the amp will save ears and provide for a smoother cue mix. See other auctions for more.
