PRESENTED FOR AUCTION IS A VINTAGE FRENCH PROVINCIAL DESK / VANITY BY SEARS. I BELIEVE THE PATTERN WAS CALLED BONNET OR DIXIE. IT IS ABOUT 50 YEARS OLD THAT I KNOW OF. THE TOP IS A STURDY, EASY-TO-CLEAN FORMICA. RHE DESK IS ABOUT 43 1/2" LONG AND ABOUT 17" DEEP. THE BOTTOM DRAW ON THE LEFT IS A DEEP DRAW GOOD FOR HANGING FILES OR STORAGE. IT IS ABOUT 17" WIDE (INSIDE WIDTH) AND ABOUT 7" (INSIDE HEIGHT). THE DESK / VANITY IS ABOUT 30" HIGH. THE VANITY / DESK IS IN GOOD CONDITION WITH THE EXCEPTION OF THE TOP RIGHT TRIM, ABOUT 7" LONG AND 1" HIGH. (IT APPEARS GREEN IN THE PHOTO). IT WILL NEED TO BE PAINTED WITH GOLD-LEAF PAINT. ALSO, PART OF THE BACK RIGHT LEG WILL HAVE TO BE RE-FINISHED OR PAINTED AS THERE ARE NARROW ROWS OF PAINT MISSING.
