Good. According to Myler, "The Myler Snaffle mouthpiece works well for beginning horses, working primarily off the tongue and bars". The mouthpiece is curved to comfortably sit in your horse's mouth. This is the traditional style snaffle that does does not rotate and does not have hooks. " Mylers" and "Toklat" are stamped on the rings. This bit is used but in good condition. It has some marks from normal use, but nothing that should effect its performance in any way. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being new, mint condition, I would give this bit an 8. A very nice quality bit!
