Offered for auction an exceptional "RARE VINTAGE MID CENTURY MODERN WAYLINE INC. RE-UPHOLSTERED BURNT ORANGE CONVERTIBLE PULL OUT SLEEPER LOUNGE ARMCHAIR / BED / 1960's MADE IN USA". This beautiful chair was displayed in the home of an Interior Designer. The manufacturer's tag reads, WAYNLINE INC. as the maker and delivered in April, 1968. It is accented with brown pipping around the edges, as well as cushioned seat and back rest. There are (3) brown fabric covered buttons on the back rest. This chair rests on (4) brown wooden feet and possibly weighs over 100 lbs. Chair dimensions: Height...31 1/2", Width arm to arm...33 1/2", Depth...36", Seat depth...21", Seat height...17 1/2", Back rest height...16". Mattress dimensions: Length...70", Width...26 1/2", Height/thickness...4". Total length of chair & mattress extended approx....95" (photo 9). The mattress rest on the original vintage metal spring frame This chair is in excellent vintage re-upholstered condition and was seldom used after re-upholstered.
