You will receive a variety box of 1 dozen unmarked hatching eggs from the many beautiful breeds of chickens we raise here at V&R Homestead. We promise two things in this mystery dozen of hatching eggs. One whatever breeds you do get will be purebred, no mixed breeds in this auction. Two we will only send chicken eggs. Duck, geese, and turkey eggs are not part of this lot. Eggs will be no older that 3 days old when we ship. * Hatching eggs will be packaged properly to ensure they arrive to you intact and unbroken. * Hatching eggs will be fertilized. We hatch these same eggs here at the farm with great success. * Hatching eggs will be from breeds described in the auction. What we DON'T guarantee * All your eggs will hatch - shipping fertile hatching eggs is risky. We have no control how the eggs are handled and stored by the post office once they leave our farm. After your package arrives inspect each egg to make sure no cracks are on the shells after unpacking. If all your eggs are intact we ask you kindly leave us a positive feedback. Feedback should be left after your eggs are received, not after hatch day. When you receive your eggs we suggest letting them rest pointy end down without turning for 24-48 hours before setting them in an incubator or under a broody hen.
