Own a piece of Olympic history. BMW provided a fleet of bikes for athletes to use in the 1996 Olympic Village in Atlanta Georgia. These were state-of the art mountain bikes and they were also specially designed to fold. As an Olympic staff member I purchased this bike from the Olympic committee in 1996. I rode it casually for several years but it has been in climate controlled storage for the past 15 years. This 26 inch bike has 3 x 7 speed Shimano STX derailleur with twist grip shifters. Official Olympic labeling and registration number can be seen in pix. Bike is in excellent working condition. 1996 Olympic Village bike -- all original except saddle and tires.
