PICS COMING SOON. LOCAL PICK UP ONLY! DO NOT BUY THIS THINKING IT WILL BE MAILED TO YOU. MEET IN PERSON AND EXCHANGE ONLY. Like new, I put only maybe 3 hours on this machine. It's just too big and heavy for what I need. I think it's best used with a brush cutter head. I'm not really into brush cutters, I'd probably use an extension hedge trimmer or cheap push mower in place of a brush cutter if I needed one. I use a lighter 25cc version of this string trimmer professionally for ~5 years and never had to work on the 25cc at all. I bought the 35cc as back up but am selling it for other equipment (the 25cc is so reliable I don't think I really need a back up trimmer and can use the cheap 2 cycle one I have if really needed while waiting for a part or something). The Honda mini 4 cycle engines are fantastic. They, and I think the Makita/Dolmars are the only 4 cycle trimmers that are patented with an oil slinger which lets them run in any 360 degree position without burning oil. This is a 4 cycle, no mixing of gas and oil. It has lots of torque compared to a 2 cycle which is more whippy/faster RPMs, this has as much if not more power than the most powerful 2 cycle string trimmer. 4 cycle burns much cleaner than a 2 stroke and is quieter and IMHO just sounds cooler than the common whiny high pitch 2 cycles. And you don't have to mix oil with the gas, just change the oil after 50 hours or yearly the manual says. All the cheaper 4 cycle trimmers will burn lots of oil if used sideways as an edger, and they eventually have starting problems etc, not the Hondas. I've had Honda push mowers and don't think they're anything special compared to a briggs but these 4 cycle mini trimmer engines are in a class of their own. Manual says change oil after the first 10 hours of use (AKA break-in to drain potential metal shavings from a tight new engine). I just changed the oil after about 2-3 hours. It has SAE30 in it now. Fuel is stabilized and will start right up even if not used for a year or two. In cooler late Fall or early Spring you should use 10W-30. SAE30 in warmer temperatures works better, same for mowers, blowers, etc. Includes a brand new Speed Feed 450 large head (~$15 clone but just as good as the ~$30 OEM Speed Feed), EASIEST head ever to relaod and it bump feeds with no problem, I've ran like thousands of miles of line through Speed Feed clones without problems. For sidewalk edging I suggest thicker .1 line which doesn't break off as easily on hard surfaces as .08 and thinner. The line in the head is just whatever came with the Speed Feed, I've tried all the fancy lines etc and IMHO think the best is just the Home Depot Rino Tuff .095-.115 yellow Pro line, not the twist, just the diamond cross section one. Original box not included. I think I have the manual somewhere but it's also online PDF. These sell new for around $415 after tax. Selling for $320 firm. You won't get warranty because it's a resale but I don't think you'll need warranty or repair. Just change the oil on time and it'll last like forever without problems. These do like to be warmed up a bit even in warm weather before going open throttle otherwise they may sort of jitter a bit, but let it warm up for a bit and enjoy this great trimmer. Serious inquires only and don't bother asking for a lower price. thank you.
