Vtg GE MLS3 3-5259A Boombox Ghettoblaster AM FM Radio Cassette Tape AUX Player. Condition is "For parts or not working". This boombox sounds great. The level meters work. Power cord is original and included. Battery compartment is clean. I did remove the foam pad from it as it was disintegrating and getting debris everywhere. Battery compartment door is in good shape. Sold for parts and repair only due to a few different factors. The cassette player will not play tapes. It will fast forward and rewind them, however the play function does not engage. The contact pots need to be cleaned to eliminate static and speaker drop when using volume at lower levels. The antenna needs to be soldered back to its contact point. It does a fine job just sitting on the connection, but it does come fully out of its mounting position. When switching from FM to either AM or FM stereo, the sound goes away. No idea why.
