I love this desk and it paired very well with my 27" iMac over the past five or so years but alas I have decided switch to a laptop and a minimalist computer desk in order to reallocate room in my study in favor of speakers and hi-fi equipment. Priorities as they say. LOL! The desk has a few barely noticeable scratches and scuffs on the lower board (see pictures) but other than that it is immaculate. It is very solid and sturdy built with heavy solid wood from top to bottom. I regret that I do not know recall what the wood species is. I purchased it new at a one-off European import furniture store in Old Town Alexandria and if I knew at the time, I do not recall it now. If memory serves I *think* it is some type of sustainable tropical hardwood from Indonesia or somewhere in that region, but truly I cannot be certain of even that. Nevertheless, it is very well built and to my eye possesses a simple elegance that looks good in most any setting. Please know that this desk is solidly built as a whole and cannot be disassembled for transport and therefore local pickup is the only option for this item. Thanks again for viewing! ps: Please understand that reasonable social distancing precautions must be factored into the pickup arrangements. I do not see this as problematic in any way; I just wanted to communicate that up front.
