Verner Panton Bachelor Easy Chair with arms model 3351. Less common than 3350. Panton made the first sketches in 1952, chair was produced in 1955, this was his first success produced by Fritz Hansen. In manufacture as well as appearance the chair is very simple: it consists of a tubular steel frame with a slung seat that is easily foldable. Originally in fabric or suede. The "knock down" principle of the Bachelor Chair made it a competitive export in the international market. It was originally intended for the starter home but did very well also in the business sector.
