This is a used item. The detector has undergone limited tested to make sure it still powered up and it did. The detector itself seems to be in great cosmetic condition as well. The original cord still worked but the rubber coating has cracked in multiple places with possible wires exposed. It could be that it isn't safe and shouldn't be used. It is included because it's original and perhaps someone would want to have it for collectors purposes or repair. It is also tacky and degraded. It is unknown if the mute button works. That is why another cord is included though the second cord has not been tested. The suction cups have not been tested. This item is sold as is and returns are not accepted for this item.
