You are bidding on an older but not antique or vintage machinist tool It is a Starrett 6 Inch Combination Square and Centering Head This is similar to the 11HC, C11HC, 33HC, C33HC and 33JHC that are currently offered by Starrett The vial is intact There is no scribe The locking mechanisms are fully operational and not bound There is some staining and patina, no rust. The rule is easy to read but it does have some patina or staining from years of use The previous owner, engraved his name in it This is a great user quality tool for a machinist, cabinet maker, chef, carpenter, tool and die maker, jeweler, model maker or hobbyist.
