Program Support Specialist

Performs a variety of increasingly complex duties dealing with assignments that are selected to further professional growth and development by providing breadth or depth of experience in applying the concepts, theories, methods and techniques appropriate to perform analytical and administrative duties. Duties also include but are not limited to the following:
Delegate budget execution duties to personnel, through training programs, as directed by management. Administer plans and procedures designed and implemented for effective property management and accountability. Compile financial data to forecast the budget for the replenishment of supplies and equipment repair and maintenance, cyclical facility maintenance and repair, and inter-service support. Implement and maintain standard procedures for records management (i.e., storing, retrieving, and routing records and files). Provide technical advice, guidance, and interpretation to management on human resources issues and problems. Evaluate current technology to recommend upgrading or replacement of existing equipment that will increase efficiency. Collaborate with staff on implementing processes to provide administrative services for internal offices. Reconcile errors or inconsistencies with operating officials supplying the original data by compiling, reviewing, and analyzing report data for completeness and accuracy. Research human resources related issues and/or problems to assist managers in resolving personnel problems. MINIMUM
Qualifications:
To be considered minimally qualified for this position, you must demonstrate that you have the required specialized experience and/or education for the respective grade level(s) in which you are applying:
GS-11 Specialized
Experience:
Must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-09 level in the federal government performing the following:
Refining and developing specific guidelines to improve the effectiveness and productivity of administrative support services; Procuring supplies and equipment for an organization; Reviewing and analyzing financial data and reports; Tracking and providing status of activities and projects; and Developing analytical reports. (Must be reflected in resume.) OR Education:
Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree; or LL.M. Graduate level education must demonstrate the competencies necessary to do the work of the position, examples of qualifying fields include Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Human Resources or a field of study that is directly related to the position that provided the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work. Combination of the above described education and specialized experience such that they total 100% when combined. To determine your combination, first compute your experience as a percentage of the experience listed above; then determine your education as a percentage of the education listed above; then add the two percentages. The total percentages must equal at least 100 percent. (Note:

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
