You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-05 level in the Federal service which includes 1) Performing administrative or office automation support preparing a variety of documents, reports, and correspondences using automated data processing system; 2) Reviewing correspondences and reports format such as grammar, spellings, and punctuation; OR 3) Utilizing automated systems such as Automated Time Attendance and Production Systems (ATAAPS) and Defense Travel Systems (DTS) for inputting employees timekeeping and travel arrangements. Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted. This position requires a typing proficiency of at least 40 words per minute (WPM) based on a 5 minute sample with 3 or fewer errors. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas:

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
