Salary Range GS-07 - $49,390 - $64,203 GS-09 - $60,415 - $78,540 The Outreach and Marketing Specialist is responsible for the following; Participating in the delivery of formal presentations to various internal and external audiences. Participating in a variety of SBA public functions through outreach/presentations/trainings. Participating in and observes training. Serving as a representative responsible for coordinating with partners. With assistance building and maintaining a local network of collaborative partnerships:
economic development practitioners in Federal, state, regional and local government, chambers of commerce, business and trade associations, financial institutions, educational institutions and civic/community organizations. Assisting in conducting program evaluations, as well as monitoring awardee performance, ensuring that grantees comply with terms and conditions of award. This is a developmental position. The position requires close supervision on new tasks and assignments, while carrying out non-complex recurring assignments independently. The incumbent serves as a member of the District Office Team in a defined developmental capacity. GS-07:
One year of specialized experience, equivalent to the GS-05 grade level in the Federal service, obtained in either the private or public sector that includes:
participating in outreach events; and serving as an initial point of contact, for customers, to evaluate needs and refer to appropriate resources; and providing administrative support to management These qualifications must be clearly referenced in your resume. GS-09:
One year of specialized experience, equivalent to the GS-07 grade level in the Federal service, obtained in either the private or public sector that includes:
Marketing through outreach, training and education to various organizations; and Participating in outreach, training, presentations and education on a variety of business management and financial management topics; and Providing support to senior staff to maintain alliances and partnerships with a variety of partners. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
